The Crown Jewel of the Peninsula

Lighthouse Cinema is a beloved staple of Pacific Grove. Established on July 17, 1987, by brothers John and Sal Enea, it has long been more than just a movie theater — it’s a place where first dates happen, friendships grow, and families come together to share in the magic of the big screen.

You can smell the popcorn before you even step inside. Lighthouse Cinema is a little piece of comfort and nostalgia that we’re proud to share with everyone.

The Enea family reacquired the cinema on May 12, 2023, and in August of 2025, it was sold to Dr. Aymen Adeeb. With the dedication of his wife, children, and mother — and the hard-working staff who’ve poured their heart and elbow grease into every detail — Lighthouse Cinema continues to shine brighter than ever.
